Pole dancing is often seen through various lenses, but I believe it can be a profound form of worship. With my background as an exotic dancer, I have come to appreciate the artistry and physicality involved in pole dancing. Just as King David danced before the Lord with fervor and joy, pole dancing can embody that same spirit of celebration and devotion. The grace and strength required to perform on a pole can be likened to the dedication and passion one puts into their spiritual practices. Each spin and pose can be a tribute to the beauty of creation, a way to honor one’s body, and a means of connecting to the divine. It can also help women overcome past fears, hurts, depression, anxiety and so much more and start building confidence not only in one's self but in the Lord.
